SHERRY J. CURTIS

Chrisney, IN– Sherry J. (Dawson) Curtis, 64, passed away on January 7, 2018 at her residence.
Sherry was born on July 9, 1953, in Owensboro, KY., to the late Carl and Betty (Dawson) Young.
Sherry was a graduate of Cannelton High School, worked at Masterbrand in Ferdinand, was a foster parent for 8 ½ years and was a homemaker. She loved her grandkids, gardening and country and gospel music.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Bert, whom she married on January 31, 2004; sons, Wayne Casper and his wife, Jessica of Tell City, and Mark Casper of Indianapolis; 7 step children, 22 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; brothers Carl Andrew Young, Jr. and his wife, Tracie of Tell City, and Michael Ray Young of Grandview; sisters, Virginia Mae Clark and her husband, Larry, of Kentucky and Toni Lynn Woods and her husband, Brent, of Tell City.
Services are at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home Youngblood Chapel in Chrisney. Burial will be in Little Pigeon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the family at the funeral home.
