Obituary for Leta Waninger

Leta Waninger, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Newburgh Healthcare. She was born on September 3, 1928 in Chrisney, IN to the late Robert and Susie Wirthwein.
Leta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Being close to her family was very important to her.
In addition to her parents, Leta was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her sisters, Norma Wirthwein and Elaine Raven; brothers, Raymond Wirthwein and Robert Wirthwein Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Galey; daughters Cynthia Schwitz (Steve), Jennifer Hammonds (Steve), and Carolyn Dearmond (Kelly); grandchildren, Courtney Donofrio (Denny), Hayley Schwitz, Kelsey Hammonds, Ryan Hammonds, Owen Dearmond, and Claire Dearmond; great-grandchild, Jaxon Hammonds.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Chrisney, IN. Visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Boultinghouse Funeral Home Youngblood Chapel in Chrisney, IN. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Bell Oaks Place and Newburgh Healthcare.
