Obituary for Shirley Rebecca Blythe

ROCKPORT, IN – Shirley (Embry) Blythe, 77, passed away May 21, 2018 at Heartford House in Owensboro, KY.
Shirley was born on November 21, 1941, in Butler Co., KY to the late Wiley Embry and Nancy (Crane) Brown.
Shirley retired from Rockport Head Start, where she worked as a custodian.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Junior Embry and Linden Embry; sisters, Theo Embry and Betty Lou Embry.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Ernest Blythe, whom she married in 1960; sons, Chris Blythe and his wife, Lisa, of Rockport and Ernie Blythe of Rockport; daughter, Cindy Hutchinson and her husband, William, of Maceo, KY; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Libby Woosley of Louisville, KY, and Marcella Blythe of Rockport.
Services are at 12:00 P.M., on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, IN, with Pastor Gary Embry officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
