Obituary for Mary Jane Griepenstroh

Mary Jane Griepenstroh, 97, passed away on November 6, 2018 at Oakwood Health in Tell City.
Mary Jane was born in Spencer County on August 13, 1921, to the late Edward and Flora (Tabelman) Dilger.
Mary Jane was a graduate of Grandview High School, a former postmaster, and a homemaker. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ.
Mary Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Vance Griepenstroh, who passed away in 2001; brothers Auburn and Allen Dilger; sister Marjorie Schroeder; great-grandaughter Danielle Reinke.
Mary Jane is survived by her sons Howard Griepenstroh and his wife, Kathy, of Lamar, David Griepenstroh and his wife, Gloria, of Evanston, Mark Griepenstroh of Portland, OR; daughter Judy Jacob of Lake Ozark, MO; grandchildren Kurt Jacob, Kristi Hunter, Holly Minto, Keith Griepenstroh, Angie Schneider, Julie Schulz, Crystal Wood, Beth Ubelhor, Brian Griepenstroh.
Services will take place at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, Youngblood Chapel in Chrisney, IN., with Pastor Steve Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery in Lamar, IN.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
