HELEN V. CHUMBLEY
GENTRYVILLE, IN – Helen V. Chumbley, 73, formally of Gentryville, Indiana, passed away Sunday July 25, 2010 at her home in Milltown,IN.
Helen was born March 15, 1937 in Tennyson, Indiana to the late Silas and Glenola (Smith) Bell.
She had worked as a CNA for various nursing homes and home health services for many years. She loved spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren) and enjoying her pet dog.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Daughter, Shelia McAllister; her former husband, Thomas W. “Bud” Chumbley; Son-in-laws Dennis Harris and Gordon Morris and one Brother, Howard Bell.
Helen is survived by Daughters, Debra Forston (Roy) of Corydon, IN, Candy Morris of Columbus, OH and Rhonda Pate of Dale, IN; Son, Robin Chumbley of Elizabeth, IN; Grandsons, Chris Harris (Natalie) and Justin Harris (Melissa),Gordon Morris (Tiffany), Michael Pate, Joshua Pate, Devon and Kevin Pate, Granddaughters, Nicole Ransdell (Christian), Leslie Morris and Chelsea Pate and 15 Great-grandchildren; Sisters, Carolina Beyke of Holland, IN and June Collins of Boonville, IN; one brother, Leland Bell of Evansville, IN.
Services are at 7:00 P.M. Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, IN. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 until time of services.
