MICHAEL PECKENPAUGH

GRANDVIEW, IN – Michael Peckenpaugh, 49, of Grandview, Indiana passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Michael was the adopted son of Jerry and the late Mildred Peckenpaugh of Evansville, Indiana.
He had worked for the Spencer County highway department as a heavy equipment operator and had previously worked as a farmer. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, restoring antique tractors and traveling with his wife Vicki.
Michael is survived by his wife, Vicki, of Grandview, IN; Mother –in-law, Phyllis White of Lamar, IN; Brothers-in law Jon Williams(Carmen)of Lamar, IN; Josh Williams (Dee) of Tell City, IN; Justin Williams (Monica) of Lamar, IN and Robert Crowe also of Lamar, IN; Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and “many” friends. In addition, Michael is survived by his special companion, “Bessie”, his beloved Border Collie.
In honor of Michael’s request, there will to be no visitation or services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer County Humane Society.
Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport has been entrusted with arrangements.
