WILMA LOUISE NEVITT

RICHLAND, IN – Wilma Louise Nevitt, 79, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at her home.
Wilma was born in Heltonville, Indiana to the late Bruce Dunlap and Nora Edith (Crabb) Butler.
She was a registered nurse for 47 years and the last 37 years were spent at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky in Pediatrics. She attended Little Pigeon Primitive Baptist Church for the last 6 years and loved quilting, reading, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, gardening, painting with water colors, and she could grow anything with her amazing green thumb. She always loved a challenge.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Kenneth Pittman; second husband, James Nevitt; brothers, Paul and Ralph Butler.
Wilma is survived by her son, Paul Samuel Nevitt II and his wife Linda of Shepardsville, KY; daughter, Sherry Pittman of Shepardsville, KY; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicole, and Paul Samuel Nevitt III.; brother, Carol Ray Butler of Mitchell, IN; sisters, Nancy Weaver and her husband Gilbert of Richland, IN, Bessie George of Venice, FL, Cindy Buckles and her husband Bill of Edmore, MI, and Ethel Jensen of Austin, MN.
Services will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport with brothers Tim and Daniel Hopper officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 Pm until time of service on Monday.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Autism Foundation
