Rockport, IN – Walter (Junior) Frank, Jr., 90, passed away on March 15, 2018, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN.
Junior was born on January 8, 1928, in Eureka, IN., to the late Walter V. & Ethel ( Small) Frank.
Junior was a member of Rockport United Methodist Church, served in the U.S. Army, worked for Swift Meat Co. for 17 years, Rockport Shell Station for 7 years, retired from Alcoa after 17 years, and was a life member of the VFW Post 1114.
Junior is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene (Green) Frank in 2012; brothers Kenneth Frank, Arthur Allen Frank, Delbert Frank; sisters Agnes Weatherholt, Gyneth Tharp.
Junior is survived by his sons, Michael Frank of Newburgh, David Frank of Rockport, Joseph Green and his wife, Madonna, of Owensboro; daughter Diana Lathery and her husband Carl of Boonville; grandchildren Linda, Brandi, Lauren, Erin, Jonathan, and Jessicah; great-grandchildren Parker, Garrett, Taylor, Reese, Ryder, Weston, and Barrett; niece Betty Garrett.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 19, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Linda E. White Hospice House.
