Obituary for Ruth Naomi Rudisill

RUTH NAOMI RUDISILL ROCKPORT, IN. Ruth Naomi (Youngblood) Rudisill, 95, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born September 19, 1922 in Boonville, Indiana to the late George Roscoe and Hazel Marie Youngblood. Ruth was a member of Richland General Baptist Church and was a former restaurant cook. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all of her loving family, embroidering, traveling, and loved all animals. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darius Rudisill (2001); son, Darius Eugene Rudisill (1978); brothers, Guy Youngblood and George Roscoe Youngblood Jr. Ruth is survived by her son, John Rudisill of Rockport,IN; daughter, Wanda Moody of Newburgh, IN; brother, Robert Youngblood of Evansville, IN; sister, Karen Sue Hess of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, LaShell Payne, Steve Moody, Michael Moody, and Lynn Garcia; 17 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, IN. with Rev. David Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer County Humane Society.
