Obituary for Marcella Embry Marts Blythe

Marcella Blythe, 90, passed away on June 10, 2018 at Heartford House in Owensboro, KY.
Marcella was born in Butler County, KY on August 30, 1927 to the late Wiley Embry, Sr. and Nancy (Crain) Embry-Brown.
Marcella was a homemaker. She was the best mom in the world and her children always came first.
Marcella is preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Edward Marts in 1951, and her second husband, Virgil O. Blythe, Jr. in 2016; brothers Lindon Embry, Jesse James Embry, Wiley Embry Jr; sisters Rebecca Blythe, Betty Lou Embry, Melissa Theo Embry.
Marcella is survived by her sons, Danny Marts, David Marts and his wife, Brenda, Phillip Blythe and his wife, Susan, all of Owensboro; daughters Shelia Kay Youngpatana of Tennessee and Pamela Lynn Vardanian and her husband, Avo of California; grandchildren Susanne Payton and her husband, Scott, Anissa Wattanaskolpant and her husband, Hui, Kristy Marts Wilczynski, Zachary Vardanian, Nan Youngpatana, Ann Youngpatana, Tyler Blythe and his wife, Rachael, Tammy Jenkijcharoenchai and her husband, Au, Alex Blythe and his wife, Amanda; 9 great grandchildren; sister Libby Woseley of Louisville.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Gary Embry officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Spencer County Hospice or Heartford House.
