Obituary for Kenneth Roland Adamson II

Kenneth Kenny R. Adamson II Hatfield, IN Kenneth Roland Adamson II, 74, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home in Hatfield. Kenny was born February 07, 1943 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Kenneth Roland and Alice (Beckort) Adamson. He retired from Alcoa from the Hot Mill in 2006 after 34 years of employment. He also worked for Schlumberger for 7and a half years. Kenny was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport, Indiana and thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. Kenny enjoyed wood working, working on cars, and his flower garden. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Danny Adamson; and a sister, Darlene Fellows. Kenny is survived by his loving wife Gerry Adamson of Hatfield, IN; Children, Lea Wilkinson of Rockport, IN, Ken and his wife Crista Adamson of Rockport, IN, Erin and her husband Jim Suter of Boonville, IN, Greg Adamson of Hatfield, IN, Courtney and her husband Ken Gordon of Colona, IL, and Whitney and her husband Nick Payne of Owensboro, KY; 13 grandchildren, Austin and Shayna Wilkinson, Keegan and Bre Adamson, Tyler, Taylor, and Trey Suter, Jesse and Jackson Adamson, Halee and Justin Gordon, Madeline and Silas Payne; Aunts, Gin Anderson and Clara Adamson, and Margie Schraner ; Uncles, Jimmy and his wife Dorothey Beckort, Fred and his wife Thelma Beckort; Brother-in-law, Bill and his wife Vickie Adkisson; Sister-in laws, Liz Rust, Rose Frank, Martha Young, Sharon and her husband Michael Smith, Bea and her husband Paul Anwiler; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services are 10 A.M. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport, Indiana with Father Ron Krelien officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday, December 18, 2017 and from 8 A.M. until the time of service Tuesday at Boultinghouse funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Childrens Hospital.
