Obituary for Alfred Critchfield

ROCKPORT, IN – Alfred “Butch” Critchfield, 72, passed away on April 9, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Rockport.
Butch was born on July 24, 1945 in Boonville, IN to the late Gilbert and Helen (Johnson) Critchfield.
Butch was a graduate of Boonville High School and had attended Indiana University. He was a member of Steel Workers Union Local 20.
Butch is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marvadean Critchfield in 2017; sister, Carolyn Sue Chamberlin.
Butch is survived by his sons Bryan Critchfield of Rockport, Randy Clayton and his companion, Janet Miller, of Patronville; daughters, Lisa Jackson of Owensboro, Kara Frye of Lexington; grandchildren, Jennifer Heflin, Justin Jackson, Jayme Jackson, Sarah Prock, Amanda Bolton, Jessica Critchfield, Chelsea Critchfield, Ciarra Critchfield, Alexis Mullen; three great grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Davis of Boonville, Gloria Wiygul; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Matt Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
